Simple Path to Less Stress

April is National Stress Awareness Month and the perfect time to take a look at stress in your life  - and what you can do about it. After all, stress isn’t just in your head. Too much of it can have a major negative impact on you physical health as well.

So if you’re planning to be around for a while, getting a handle on your stress can a lifesaver. If you’re not sure how stress is affecting you, here are a couple of simple steps to take -

  1. Take this quiz to get a clear picture of your stress level now.
  2. Check out these 7 ways to de-stress and start doing at least one of them tomorrow.
  3. Try loving-kindness meditation (also known as metta meditation  - it’s the 4 short phrases in the picture above or the video below. I’ve done this for years and it really helps me slow my mind down and derail any of the negative thoughts that float through from time to time.
